 While we are in the middle of the summer market the listing activity is reaching record heights! With numbers comparable to 2007 the end of June had 9406 properties listed on MLS....Sept of 2007 had record amount of listings at 9913!!  There were 3473 properties listed in June and only 1539 sold!  This is creating large inventory levels leaving lots for buyers to choose from.  The amount of residential sales were down 37% over last June... The  pricing of residential properties has remained relatively stable with mild fluctuations. Going into the second half of the year prices tend to soften  as market activity will slow going into fall and winter seasons.
