As we look ahead into a new year we can feel confident the market will be strong with mortgage rates remaining low, migration to Alberta is forcasted to continue to increase, and prices are remaining stable.  The December sales were up 2.8% over 2010 with 949 properties sold.  The average residential sale price was up to $375,703 showing a growth of 2.59% for the year. Home owners are gaining equity in their homes and are feeling comfortable in the market.  With Albertas economic growth at 4% for 2011 and a projection of a 3% growth in 2012 we can be confident in the real estate market in Edmonton and area will remain stable and continue with positive growth!
