Well with a new year upon us we can look back at 2010 and  see a definate decline in market activity, as well as prices for the second half of the year. In June 2010 the average price for single family home was $390,000 and by December we were down to $355,270.... as well the amount of properties that sold per month was steadily down over the second half of the year - 11.50% in comparison to 2009.  Sellers found themselves immersed in a market completely favorable to buyers and having to be extremely aggressive with listing prices... Buyers found themselves having the pick of the crop and able to negotiate prices in their favor.

With 2011 here we will have lots to look forward to... with new year brings new beginnings....Seasonal trends will start an upward swing, and people will soon be wanting to make a move!
